CACIT International Field Trial, Maserada, Italy
Our first CACIT Open Field Trial experience in Italian terrain, only on wild birds: Maserada CACIT IFT 13th January, 2018. 3 batteries of Continental and 3 batteries of English Pointing Dogs. Very difficult terrain with really smart and wild birds. No other vizslas entered, only Bretons and Kurzhaars. We are very proud that our dogs made good impression on our judge today. We finished with a 2nd place MB for Echo and a 3rd place MB for Extreme. The only dogs who had a recall in our battery, were Extreme and Anouk. Anouk was the favorite of the judge for the day, but unluckily she didn’t find any birds. Both Extreme and Echo made a solid point on pheasant, but none of them were 100% steady on flush, so that put them out of from Exc. Henna also had a good point, but also moved after the bird flushed, and got eliminated. I couldn’t really understand what was going on with my dogs, when usually they are very steady. Still, they achieved some very nice results, especially because no CAC and CACIT were awarded today neither in Continentals nor in English Pointers. These judges don’t give these titles easy. No wonder its considered one of the most prestigious Field Trial in Italy.
2nd day of Mesarada Field Trial. My dogs made me extremely proud, and grabbed quite the attention of the Italian judges, competitors and spectators- most of them have never seen a Wirehaired Vizsla in work before. We took 1st, 3rd and 6th place, I was the only female handler, (most handlers were professional Italian FT handlers), and I was the only person who scored with all of my dogs.
Judge: Pacioni Sandro
1st Exc. Henna DDSH
3rd Exc. Zoldmali Echo
6th MB. Zoldmali Extreme
And we did these results with Echo being in heat and Extreme travelling in the same car with her! They both got titled both days. None of them had peak performance today because of the above reasons, but still did well. We had 13 dogs in our battery and there were 3 batteries.
Zöldmáli Team has proven already in 8 countries (Italy, Croatia, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, England) by independent, international judges, that our dogs are Top dogs in Field Trial!
