He gained 2 CACITs within a week, one from Field Trial, the other from All-Round Competition (Field-Water-Forest). Many say, its not possible to be successful with a dog on both Field Trial (where a dog needs to hunt very fast and far, covering lots of ground with high head carriage and great style) and on all-round competitions (where a dog has to perform several disciplines on field, water and forest, doing field work, live duck search, blood tracking, fox retrieving, etc.- and training for all these usually makes a dog closer ranging, more controlled and the difficult tracking disciplines lower the nose-usage of the dog). Extreme is not my only dog, who did well on Field Trial and All-Round Competitions, as his mom Lepke, his grandma Irisz and great-grandma Alma, have all been titled in 1st prize on both type of competitions, but Extreme is the only Wirehaired Vizsla, and to my knowledge the only Pointing Dog, who has gained a CACIT in both competition types within a week. He was awarded CACIT by Croatian judges on an International Field Trial in Apaj, Hungary, and than the next day we had the Special Hungarian Vizsla CACIT All-Round Competition (only for Hungarian Vizslas, where the 2 days disciplines were performed in 1 day!!!!), where he got 1st prize, 4th place (Zöldmáli Zokni was the winner with CACIT, and Zöldmáli Bringa was the 3rd with resCACT, both of them handled by Laci). And than the weekend after, Extreme won the Irsa-Vad Farm Kupa CACIT All-Round Competition, a 2 days long competition for all Pointing Dog Breeds.
Well Extreme just seems to be one of those very talented ones, who is able to switch and excel in both competitions even if its a day apart! He is a hard working dog, who never gets tired, has a clear mind and takes pressure very well. He is a one in a million dog![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
